Day 47: Field Trip!

J. with the signer's of the Constitution at the Constitution Center.

J. at the Libery Center with a piece of glass artwork representative of peace at the Liberty Museum.

Detail shot.

The results of an anonymous poll at the Liberty Museum that asked questions pertaining to the death penalty, free speech, and gun control. No matter which side of the poll you fall on, it's wonderful to know that we live in a country that allows diverse opinions. And, for the most part, the poll was equally divided in opinion.

A Dale Chihuly original at the Liberty Museum. The founder of the museum believes that glass is a great  symbol of freedom because it is strong yet fragile. This is the only piece by Chihuly that actually separates in the middle... the separation is supposed to represent the fact that liberty is easily lost and isn't existent everywhere in the world.

And, a self portrait in the Liberty Museum.
