I used my consumer model camera that's five years old and placed it on the hood of the Suburban so that I could capture the reflections of the trees and pincone. The brightness of the sun made the photo extremely overexposed which I believe caused the pinecone to lose most of it's color and look gray with very light reflections of the color of the car reflected in it. Jeff showed me how to bring out more of the pink reflections in Photoshop since the camera had gathered the information.
