I am so sad to hear of your sledding accident and broken ankle. I know you're in pain and I will be praying for you to heal quickly. And let me tell you w/ all certainty that you were not stupid at all to do what you did - you did what any mother would've done; act to protect their child. Just shows what a quick thinking, loving mom you are.

Are we seeing the fluevog pair in a different setting? and in color? If you had to go to the ER, at least you went in style. :-)

Thanks, Sandy, especially for the part about being a Mom. And, I did actually have on a Fluevog (different pair) at the ER but this is actually the waiting room of the podiatric surgeon who put my cast on yesterday. I have a feeling there will be a few more waiting room shots in my future since this cast comes off in two weeks and then I get a new one. Jeff isn't wearing his Fluevogs in this picture instead he has on his current faves... borns. (I don't know how to get the little symbol over the o)
